Rooted in a rich tradition of faith, prayer, and divine power
The Cherubim & Seraphim Church was founded in 1925 in Nigeria by Moses Orimolade Tunolase, a powerful evangelist known for miraculous healings and spiritual revivals. The movement emerged from a desire for a direct, personal experience of God's presence and power.
Key characteristics of our tradition include:
The biblical truths we stand upon
We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, our final authority for faith and practice. Scripture guides our worship, teaching, and daily living.
We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe that salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again. There is no other name by which we can be saved.
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the operation of spiritual gifts as witnessed in the early church and available to believers today.
We believe in the power of prayer and that God heals the sick in response to faith and intercession, as demonstrated throughout Scripture.
We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal life for all who believe in Him.
To promote the advancement of the Christian religion by propagating the Gospel of Jesus Christ in accordance with our Statement of Faith throughout the United Kingdom. We are committed to:
